ADVENT IS UPON US! ~ Poinsettias may be received in honour or in memory of a loved one and can be dropped off during the week, (Tuesday to Friday from 9 am – 4 pm) at the church office. Poinsettias must be received no later than December 15th so names of loved ones will be included in the December 18th bulletin.
THURSDAY , DECEMBER 15TH @ 1:30 pm – The “THINKING OF YOU” Christmas Baskets will be filled and delivered on Dec. 15. Looking for baked goodies, to fill our baskets. Always able to use extra hands to fill and deliver these baskets. Call Wendy Marney at 386-3335 if you are able to help out with filling/delivering baskets, or both.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16th. @ 10 a.m. – 12 noon. YOU ARE INVITED! The Saint Paul’s Senior Fitness Group will host a Christmas Pot-Luck Brunch on Just bring a small amount of “finger foods”….sandwiches, sweets, fruit or veggie trays….to share. Tea, coffee and punch will be provided. A music group led by Guy Basque will provide entertainment from 10:00 to 11:00 with a special guest appearance by St. Paul’s very own Kyle Johnsen bringing some favourite Christmas songs. YEAR END CONTRIBUTIONS: Save on your taxes! On December 30TH the church office will be open from 10 am to 3 pm to accept any donations to St. Paul’s United Church for the year 2016. A final deposit for 2016 will be made December 30 to reflect these donations. We can receive Post Dated Cheques dated Dec. 30, 2016 at the office if you are away and not returning till after the new year. All donations received after December 30th , 2016 will be credited to year 2017. HAVE YOU MOVED? ~ If you have moved during the year and have not forwarded your new address to the church office, please contact the office, so your 2016 Tax Receipts and upcoming newsletters will be sent to the proper address.
