DECEMBER 4, 7pm        Riverview Carol Festival

Each year, the Riverview Ministerial Association marks the beginning of the Advent & Christmas season with a service of readings, carols and special music presented by choirs of our community churches. The service will be held at Gunningsville Baptist Church, Old Coach Road.

DECEMBER 11, 10am          Advent 3 – Joy

Special Music with harpist, Dorothy Brzezicki at the morning worship.

11:30am – Nativity Display in the hall.

Nativity scenes provide a rich and varied symbol of the Christmas story. Please consider sharing your own favourite nativity set by displaying it in the hall on December 11. Write a little note if this has been given to you by someone special or passed down through your family, etc.

12-4 pm – Children’s Fun Afternoon

Movie, card-making and games for kids (while parents go shopping, rest, read…?). Please sign your child up on the list in the foyer (let us know of any food allergies) or email the church office at stpaulsunited@nb.aibn.com

DECEMBER 11, 7 pm            Memorial Service

This quiet, contemplative service is an opportunity for those experiencing grief to search for healing and hope in this season.  At this service we remember loved ones we have lost, give thanks for their life and love, and find reassurance in the light of God’s presence.  If you would like to have a family member or friend remembered in this special service, please contact the church office no later than Dec. 8th, and make a special contribution, of any amount, in their memory.  During the service, each person will be remembered as their name is read aloud. Special Music with harpist, Dorothy Brzezicki.

DECEMBER 18, 10 am          Advent 4 – Love

Sunday School will be singing on this Sunday. Coffee & Conversation following the service.

DECEMBER 25 – At a recent Governance Committee, it was decided that there would NOT be a service held at St. Paul’s on Sunday, December 25th out of respect for the staff and volunteers who are required to have 4 services on Christmas Eve.  Worship will resume on January 1st, 2017.
